L'Jai TS#8
I met with Arwa again on Saturday, the 13th. Since we did so well with the subject and predicate activities on Thursday, we did an activity where Arwa had to rearrange jumbled sentences. Knowing that the subject normally comes at the beginning of the sentence, Area did a really good job of making sense of the first part of the sentence. When it came to the predicate, however, Arwareally struggled with arranging the sentences logically. For example, sentences like "Jamie's rides his bike everyday," came to her really easy, but more complex sentences like, "Jamie likes to eat ice cream when it's hot outside," she struggled a lot with. I wondered if this was level appropriate. Next session, I plan to work on her reading comprehension.
