Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: I really like how Ryan structured his class. He started with an overview, explaining the agenda and referring back to it at the end of each activity. I thought his writing feedback was easy to understand. He places asterisks around mistakes and asks students to document them in their error logs. The error logs keep record of student's mistakes. I thought this was a great tool because students will be able to refer to their log and identify reoccurring issues. I also like that the instructor ended the class with a class activity to stimulate interest. He summarized their past writings and had them guess who wrote it. For example, "____ loved his military service but definitely looked forward to finishing it."
